Videos

You can now upload videos directly into PlanGrid, as opposed to only pictures.

Photo Enhancements

Enhancements include bulk photo upload and selecting, existing photo markup, and more information on the photo details, such as photo location, timestamp, and who took it.

BIM Enhancements

PlanGrid BIM, which was announced in April of 2019, allows users to quickly navigate from 2D to 3D drawings in the field.  Previously, this was only available for iOS and web app users, but it is now available on Windows and Android devices.

Progress Milestone Dashboard

Add key dates to your Project Hub home page, like project kick-off, punchlists, or completion deadlines.

For more information about these updates, check out PlanGrid’s blog here.

BIM 360

Design Risk Management

Document Collaboration Enhancements

Quickly move files or folders, added markup callout arrow tool, deep zoom into PDFs, and snap-to lines when measuring.

Analytics & Reporting Enhancements

Construction IQ will help identify high-risk issues likely to cause a failed inspection. In addition, users can now drop a pushpin to mark where an issue is when generating an issue report, so the area can be easily found in the future. More than 17 new partner cards were also added to the Card Library.

Pending User Assignments

Project Admins can now assign permissions without having to wait for the new user to authenticate their access.

Integration Cards

The cards allow users to view relevant project information from a centralized location, such as Activity Gantt View, Percent Plan Complete Snapshot, and Activity Root Cause.
